Synopsis: |
Helen and Stanley Roper turn to their upstairs tenants for help in cheering Laurie, who is moping because her mother is off getting remarried. Laurie is smitten by love when Jack makes her laugh. Then a telegram arrives inviting Janet and Chrissy to a yacht club barbeque, and they rush off thinking the invitation is from their dentist. While Jack and Laurie are having dinner, one of his girlfriends, Rita, shows up unexpectedly and tries to dismiss Laurie. When Janet and Chrissy return and learn Rita was there, they accuse Jack of sending the phony wire. |
